“Everyone who knows me knows that I love a challenge.”
Michael West
Serving Clients with Compassion, Experience, and Integrity
Michael West has devoted over 30 years to the practice of law, continuing a proud family legacy of legal service. Inspired by his father, the late retired State District Judge David West—who was also his law partner for more than two decades—Michael learned early on that law is not just about thinking better, but doing better. His father’s example instilled in him a passion for helping people during their most difficult times.
A Family-Focused Firm
At the heart of Michael’s practice is a unique and personal approach. Not only did he work closely with his father for many years, but his wife, Laura, serves as his office manager. Those who know the West family well describe Laura as the anchor of the office, and the close-knit dynamic of the firm as a reflection of mutual respect, shared values, and a deep commitment to their clients.
A Commitment to Helping Others
Michael’s legal career has been shaped by a sincere desire to help individuals in need. Whether it’s offering straightforward advice or fighting to secure justice and compensation, Michael approaches every case with compassion and dedication.
After beginning his practice in downtown Houston, Michael chose to relocate his office to Pasadena to better serve his clients. Today, he meets with clients in his Pasadena office or via Zoom and offers after-hours and in-home consultations when needed—ensuring that legal help is always within reach.
